File Sync - Simple file synchronizer
SV File Sync is a simple file synchronizing applications for Windows.
I developed it to synchronize WSJT-X log files (wsjtx_log.adi) on different
computers via a cloud service. Additionally I use it to sync the log
file for two WSJT-X instances running in the same PC. See my example
in the screen shot. And of course SV File Sync can be used to synchronize
other files as well.
SV File Sync screen shot
The sync method very is simple, a file with a latest date and time
stamp is copied over to the defined folders. If the file dates and times
are the equal, nothing is done.
SV File Sync runs in the Windows system tray and thus it takes very little room on your desktop. Click the SV File Sync icon to show it. Remark! Backup the file first to avoid mishaps in the beginning. Settings. Initially create folders and copy the file manually to all folders as needed. Enter or browse two or three file paths and click "Select" for the files to synchronize. Test first with the "Sync Now" button after which you can start Auto Sync at a specified interval. Tip. You can start SV File Sync automatically when you start your PC by copying the shortcut to Windows startup folder. Write "shell:startup" into File Explorer to find the startup folder. Feedback. I would like to hear your experience of this SV File Sync application. You can find my email in qrz.com Download the latest version SV_FileSyncSetup-v1.45.zip (Minor things corrected) If you find this SV File Sync application useful, I would appreciate
